Seth was born and raised in Mendon, VT and graduated from Bryant University in 1998. At Bryant he studied business with a concentration in accounting. After college he went onto active duty in the Army, followed by a few years in the Vermont Army National Guard where he reached the rank of Captain. After his military career, he spent many years working in the medical device industry for large corporations as well as some small businesses. In addition to his practice, he is the coordinator of the UVM Tax Schools which provide annual continuing education for approximately 400 tax practitioners throughout the State of Vermont and beyond. He is also a contributing author for The National Income Tax Workbook, Vice President of the Vermont Tax Practitioners Association and part of a committee that meets annually to consult with the IRS and the Joint Committee on Taxation of Congress regarding the effects of tax law on farmers as well as other taxpayers.
Seth is an Enrolled Agent (EA) licensed to practice before the IRS. This means he has passed a comprehensive three part test on individual taxation, business taxation and rules and regulations. EAs are also required to complete 72 hours of continuing education every three years. In addition, Seth has 14 years of tax preparation experience and enjoys helping his clients prepare and plan for success. He has spent many years working inside both large and small businesses. This experience has provided him with a knowledge base to help many different types of clients.
Seth currently resides in Charlotte, VT with his wife Sera, son Caden and dog Gia.
